Southern Fried Blues Society Membership Drive - August 11, 2008
Mark your calendars for Sept 26th at the Garage at Biltmore (Asheville). Bobby G and band appearing with 3 other fabulous blues acts to raise funds and sign up members for the new Southern Fried Blues Society.
Friday night blues... - July 5, 2008
At last!! Friday night blues is back in downtown Waynesville......O'Malleys (Irish Pub) on N. Main Street is booking Bobby G and the band (Tim Allen on blues harp and Dave Todd on congas) as Friday night regulars, twice a month, starting in August.
O'Malley's laid back, intimate atmosphere makes it a great blues spot. Grab a seat at the bar and throw out a peace sign.

Smokey Mountain Blues - SOLD OUT - June 17, 2008
Bobby G's first original solo CD - Smokey Mountain Blues is a sell out. 32,000 copies have been distributed in USA and Europe since the CD was independently released in Aug. 2005.

Got Guitar? - June 11, 2008
If you'd like suggest a new blues lovin' venue where you'd love to see Bobby G play, drop us a line. We're widening the circle of gigs -- towards Atlanta, Columbia SC, and Knoxville TN for Fall bookings and into 2009. All aboard for points East, West, North, and South. (hmm...at least while there is gas in the Jeep)
Sunday Blues - June 9, 2008
Everybody wants blues on Sundays, this summer. So... we're juggling afternoon and evening gig dates between The Still (Leicester), Annie's Food & Spirits (Sylva). Sadly, that didn't leave any room for Norton's Bar & Grill (Asheville).

2 New Blues Lovin' Venues in Asheville - June 8, 2008
Check out the great sound at Norton's Bar and Grill (on Tunnel Road near VA Hospital) -- AND -- Mack Kell's Bar & Grill (on Tunnel Road near Mall). Both are biker-friendly, great food, and good acoustics.

Fans Launch Their Own Website - May 3, 2008
During a recent gig at Annie's, some fans decided to form an "official" Bobby G fan club. Ideas flew through the air like New Year's confetti -- a catchy name, electing officers, designing a tee-shirt that doesn't say "Got Guitar?", and more...
Eventually, they sorted out the important stuff, like the name -
The G Spots. The logo - a stylized neon guitar with a big spot on the G string. Some fun for fans -- to blog and comment about blues G Spots... tell their side of the gig story.
In between belly laughs and snappy one-liners, the lovely Mz. Jackie was crowned "Queen of the Groupies" to reign for 2008.
Now, The G Spots now have their own dedicated website at fuzz.com with every feature a fan club could ever want.
